Are you a quality‑driven professional with a strong engineering foundation and a passion for building robust systems that make operations safer, smarter, and more consistent? We are looking for a Quality, Health & Safety Manager who will take ownership of the QHSE strategy and lead the charge in elevating standards across the business.
Your new role
You will lead all quality and health & safety strategy for the site, with a supporting team of QA's, QC's and an experienced HSE Co-ordinator.
1. Quality Strategy — Develop, implement, and continuously refine our Quality Management System, ensuringpliance with ISO standards and customer expectations.
2. Process Improvement — Drive root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and long‑term preventive measures across engineering and production.
3. Health & Safety Oversight — Maintain a safe working environment through audits, risk assessments, and proactive safety initiatives.
4. Cross‑Functional Leadership — Partner with engineering, operations, and senior leadership to embed quality into every stage of the product life cycle.
What you'll need to succeed
5. A strong engineering background — mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, or similar.
6. Proven experience in quality management, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
7. Solid understanding of ISO 9001, continuous improvement tools (5 Whys, FMEA, Six Sigma), and risk‑based thinking.
8. Confidentmunicator who can influence, coach, and challenge.
9. A proactive mindset with a passion for building systems that prevent problems rather than react to them.
10. Health & Safety qualified (Nebosh Gen Cert/Diploma)
