We're Hiring: Bars Manager
Location: Braemar, Scotland | Full-Time | Luxury Hospitality
Are you passionate about fine spirits, bold flavours, and
unforgettable guest experiences? We’re looking for a visionary Bars Manager
to lead two of our standout venues – Elsa’s Cocktail Bar and Bertie’s
Whisky Bar.
As part of our Food & Beverage leadership team, you’ll
be the creative and operational force behind our bespoke bar concepts. From
developing exceptional cocktail menus and sourcing rare whiskies to
orchestrating unforgettable events and mentoring a high-performing team – this
role is all about raising the bar.
What You’ll Do:
* Curate
an evolving, premium beverage portfolio in collaboration with our Drinks
Category Manager
* Design
seasonal menus and immersive guest experiences including whisky flights,
storytelling cocktails, and more
* Lead
daily operations, ensuring seamless, high-end service across both venues
* Host
and execute events – from VIP tastings to luxury weddings and brand
takeovers
* Collaborate
with Marketing to bring signature drinks and events to life
* Manage
supplier relationships, stock control, and beverage cost strategies
* Recruit,
train, and develop a skilled and passionate bar team
* Champion
sustainability, innovation, and top-tier guest service
What You’ll Bring:
* Proven
leadership experience in a luxury bar or beverage-focused role
* Deep
knowledge of spirits and cocktails – whisky expertise highly desirable
* Strong
operational skills with a flair for creativity and personalisation
* Experience
with supplier management, menu development, and staff training
* Familiarity
with LQA or Forbes service standards (advantageous)
* Relevant
beverage certifications such as WSET or a Whisky Diploma (a plus)
