Our client is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a focus on highways. This is a contract position, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your career within this specialised industry.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Cost Management: Assisting in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tracking project expenses.
2. Procurement: Supporting the procurement process, including ordering materials and managing supplier relationships.
3. Contract Administration: Helping with the preparation and management of contracts, including sub-contractor agreements and payment applications.
4. Valuations: Assisting with measuring and valuing work completed on site and processing payment applications.
5. Reporting: Compiling cost reports, progress updates, and other financial information for the project team.
