Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vehicle Service agentto join our team.
The role will be to meet and greet customers, deal with enquiries, process bookings and requests, deal with incoming parts and process returns where needed
The role will also include oversight of jobs to ensure that parts are on site, and chase where needed to ensure the smooth running of the parts systems
Responsibilities
* Process bookings - taking all relevent data and following GDPR policies
* Conduct regular internal check to ensure parts are either arrived or returned where needed
* Assist customers with vehicle pick-up and drop-off, providing exceptional service throughout the process.
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
* Upsell additional services or products to customers, enhancing their experience and maximising sales opportunities.
* Maintain an organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
* Keep the reception and public areas clean and tidy
Requirements
* Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage - but training will be given
* Strong cash / card handling skills with a keen eye for detail when processing transactions.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle maintenance and service.
* A driving license is essential as you may need to help customers collect cars from our compounds on site
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
