Job Description
Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector? I am currently recruiting a Maintenance professional to work on an ongoing temporary basis, supporting the school site team with day-to-day general maintenance and site work. There will be full-time and part-time positions available throughout the school year, with varying durations. There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school, although this is not guaranteed.
You must be available to start as soon as possible and be flexible with working hours. As a school caretaker, your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out general maintenance and litter picking
2. Performing odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
3. Opening and closing the school building
4. Working independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
5. Setting alarms
You will be required to fully register with us, providing right-to-work documents and obtaining an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £56.49 (unless you already have one registered on the update service). Please only apply if you are able to do this.
