Experience required…
Essential:
8. UK experience working within a Local Authority traffic engineering environment, or consultancy supporting Local Authorities.
9. Confident in detailed design and implementation of traffic schemes including reviewing drawings.
10. Competent in the use of TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, LTN 1/20 and other relevant standards and guidance documents.
11. Experience in contractor liaison, including clarifications and site queries.
12. Experience managing public consultations and stakeholders.
13. Ability to prepare technical reports.
14. Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple schemes and work with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
15. CAD capability beneficial but not essential.
16. Experience guiding junior colleagues or providing informal support to others.
17. Organisation and monitoring of costs in relation to Traffic Regulation Orders and Traffic schemes.
