Job Specification: Construction Temp Recruiter (London) Specialisms: Blue Collar | M&E | Fire & Security | Freelance White Collar Overview We’re building out a high-performing Construction Temps division in London and are looking for experienced billers who know how to generate, manage, and scale temp desks in fast-moving markets. This is a genuine opportunity to plug into an existing client base, with warm relationships already in place across: General blue-collar construction Freelance PMs / SMs / QSs M&E temps Fire & Security (Engineering, Trades, Sales – temp & perm) If you’re someone who enjoys the pace, ownership, and earning potential of temp recruitment — but wants better infrastructure, support, and long-term vision — this is worth a conversation. The Role You’ll take ownership of a temp desk within construction, with the autonomy to focus on your niche while leveraging existing client relationships. Key responsibilities: Build, manage, and grow a high-performing temp desk Supply into active client accounts and develop new business opportunities Manage contractor pipelines, availability, and compliance Drive weekly GP through consistent placements and contractor retention Maintain strong site/client relationships and become a go-to supplier Balance speed and quality in a high-volume environment Markets We’re Hiring Into We’re particularly interested in recruiters with experience in: Blue Collar Construction Labourers, groundworkers, trades High-volume, fast-paced temp supply Freelance White Collar PMs, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors Long-term contract placements into established clients M&E Temps Electricians, mechanical trades, building services Strong demand across commercial projects Fire & Security (Engineering, Trades & Sales) Engineers, installers, service & maintenance Fire & security trades and commercial/sales hires What We’re Looking For Proven experience billing on a construction temp desk Strong understanding of contractor management and compliance Ability to build and maintain client relationships Commercial mindset with a focus on weekly revenue generation Resilient, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Experience in one or more of the above verticals What Success Looks Like Consistent weekly GP generation High contractor retention and repeat bookings Strong client relationships and PSL growth Ability to scale desk revenue over time Becoming a recognised specialist in your niche Why Join Access to existing client relationships and live demand Autonomy to build your desk your way Supportive leadership with a growth-focused mindset Opportunity to scale a desk (or team) within a growing division Clear financial upside linked to performance Location & Package London-based (flexible working options available) Competitive base uncapped commission Clear progression opportunities as the division scales The Opportunity This isn’t a “start from zero” role — it’s a chance to plug into traction and build something meaningful within a growing construction temp business.
