Client-side Planning Manager Role

This is an unmissable opportunity to join a well-established and respected developer in a client-side role. Our client is seeking to hire a Planning Manager to join their team.
The company specialises in national land promotion, with a strong emphasis on residential and mixed-use developments. Reporting to the Planning Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing planning strategies, leading planning applications, and supporting the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct research to inform planning strategies and site promotions.
* Develop and implement planning and engagement strategies.
* Prepare and sign off planning reports, applications, appeals, and policy presentations.
* Support senior team members with planning matters as required.
* Review and provide feedback on external consultant reports.
* Manage workload effectively, including delegating tasks as needed.
* Lead public engagement and consultation events.
* Mentor and support junior planners.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience in residential planning (preferred but not essential).
* A degree in Planning or a related field, with eligibility for RTPI Membership.
* Proven ability to manage workloads and projects efficiently.
* Knowledge of site promotion through development plans and planning applications.
* A proactive and positive mindset.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ambition to take on leadership roles and advance within the company.
