They have recently designed and manufactured a new range of multichannel and phased array ultrasound controllers for use in the Non-Destructive Testing industries, and things are getting very exciting indeed. You will work with, and learn from an incredible team of highly skilled and qualified engineers and scientists, with in-house skills from electronics design (both analogue and digital), embedded software, test and calibration through to ultrasonic inspection. Quick Role Summary ● You’ll assist in the design of embedded systems that comprises both high-speed analogue and digital electronics ● You’ll be active in supporting a range of new and existing products with updates and enhancements ● You’ll carry out advanced fault finding on new PCBs and systems ● Build documentation for new designs with a bill of materials, test processes, etc Does your knowledge and experience look like this? ● 3-5 years in electronic design? ● Experience in schematic / PCB layout, circuit design, and development ● Exposure or knowledge of Altium - not essential, but good to have ● Experience with VHDL for large FPGA designs ● Experience in Digital and Analog design ● Simulation tools ● Experience with FPGA tools ● Embedded programming experience - C If you feel you’re nearly there but not quite please apply.
