We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly-motivated Teacher of Design Technology (Materials and Textiles) from Term 2, (3rd November 2025)
The role is part time (0.50 FTE) and is a fixed term maternity cover role for one year or on the return of the postholder if earlier.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and committed teacher who understands the way to motivate and inspire pupils, and can share their love of their subject. This is a great opportunity for an inspiring teacher to make a real impact on students’ learning and creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, advocating a passion for technology, and supporting students in developing practical and theoretical skills.
There will be teaching within the area of Materials for Key Stage 3, and Textiles for Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
The successful candidate will:

2. Be able to consistently teach inspirational lessons and have good subject knowledge.
