Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Reach Forklift Operative to join a busy our client in Polegate. In this role, you will be a key part of the stock movement process, ensuring that goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.
You'll be working with high racking, fast-moving inventory, and a team that values precision and teamwork. You will also be responsible for supporting the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility. This position requires someone who enjoys a varied workload, can stay focused in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Operating Reach Forklifts safely and confidently
* Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
* Supporting waste-processing machinery and production lines where required
* Transporting materials to the correct storage or processing areas
* Assisting with yard and warehouse housekeeping
* Completing daily FLT checks and reporting defects
* Following strict health & safety, environmental, and site compliance procedures

* Right to work in the UK.

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
* Reach forklift certificate
