Service Coordinator – Crawley, UK – Administrative at Mackay Communications, Inc. Mackay Marine is a global company that sells, installs, and services marine navigation and communication equipment onboard commercial ships around the world. Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service by quickly responding to customer enquiries and/or requests for onsite repairs via email or telephone, and promote Mackay’s services and locations.
* Dispatch technicians to sites in and around the UK.
* Keep the customer informed and ensure a positive complete service experience on every job.
* Inform technicians of any changes to vessel schedule or work to be performed.
* Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure spare parts are available and set aside for each job.
* Handle invoicing, recordkeeping, and other general administrative duties.
* Participate in after-hours and weekend call rotation.
Qualifications
* Experience in service coordination or a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Education to GCDE & A-Level preferred or relevant industry experience.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
* Strong client service mentality.
* Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills in English are required.
* Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation.
