The Role:
As an Art Teacher, you'll be at the heart of our creative journey. You'll have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of students across all key stages, from sketching to sculpture, from digital art to mixed media masterpieces! Your classroom will be a place of expression, discovery, and innovation, where students explore new ideas and develop the technical skills to bring their visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, teach, and unleash creative brilliance in dynamic Art lessons across all key stages
Encourage students to push the boundaries of their imagination with exciting, hands-on projects
Provide personalized feedback to help students refine their craft and develop their artistic identity
Innovate and inspire-introduce new techniques and modern mediums to fuel creative growth
Create opportunities for students to showcase their talents through art exhibitions, competitions, and projects
Collaborate with an energetic team of creatives to make the Arts Department the heart of the school
Engage with students outside the classroom through art clubs, creative workshops, and school events
Build a vibrant classroom culture where every student feels confident to express themselves through artAbout You:
A passionate artist and educator with a qualification in Art and relevant teaching experience (QTS or equivalent)
Energetic and inspiring-you know how to captivate and motivate students to explore their creativity
Experience teaching Art at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4)
You're a creative problem-solver who knows how to make every lesson a work of art
Skilled in a variety of artistic techniques, and eager to teach everything from painting to digital design
A collaborative team player, ready to bring your own unique artistic flair to the department
