Sous Chef
Designed for the 21st century yet remaining sympathetic to this beautiful historic hotel located in the heart of the New Forest.
We are looking for a Sous Chef to come and join the team in our clients 2 AA Rosette restaurant, using locally sourced produce to create modern dishes.
As Sous Chef you will be assisting the Head Chef to manage the kitchen team, assisting with a variety of daily tasks, taking responsibility ensuring everything is organised and cooking through service.
Main Responsibilities
* Leading by example in delivering meals of the highest standards to all guests
* Working alongside the Restaurant team to ensure that guests dining are served promptly
* Ensuring adherence to organisational standards of food quality, hygiene, preparation, and presentation
* Maintaining par stock levels through ordering and stock rotation, ensuring minimum wastage
* Working alongside the team of Chefs to ensure that all Restaurant/Function/lunch service hours are covered, including Room Service provision
* Ensuring that at all times food hygiene practices are followed
