Casual Catering Assistant We have some fantastic opportunities available to work within East Staffordshire Borough Council as a Casual Catering Assistant at the Brewhouse Arts Centre. In this role you will be expected to provide evening and weekend event supervision on a rota basis with other team members including serving alcoholic beverages from the bar, cash handling and cleaning duties. You should enjoy working with people and have a friendly and welcoming attitude. You should be able to deal with busy environments, competing demands and be able to work in a team. We’re looking for someone with a flexible and adaptable attitude who can be calm under pressure. We are looking for somebody who can work unsocial hours (evenings and weekends), possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to lift and move equipment if required. This is a casual role with hours that vary depending on the number of events each month. Please note that there is no guarantee of a set number of shifts. The salary grade is 3, SCP 3 – fixed at £12.85 per hour. The appointment will be subject to a Basic Level Disclosure & Barring Service check.
