Team Leader, Assessment & Care Management, Lewis & Harris
£47,885 to £51,705 per annum, inclusive of £2,742 per annum Distant Islands Allowance
You will manage, deliver, and develop assessment and care management services in Lewis and Harris. You will foster close working relationships with partner organisations to improve personal and corporate outcomes. Your responsibilities include ensuring all requests for service are handled according to current departmental procedures and legal requirements, as well as supporting team members to meet good practice and service standards. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping services and influencing future service developments.
You must hold a Diploma in Social Work or an equivalent qualification. Please follow this link to see relevant accepted qualifications for this position. You should have up-to-date knowledge of legislation and policy related to Assessment and Care Management Services. Proven ability to supervise staff within a team and ensure compliance with policies and practices is essential. A post-qualifying award would be desirable.
This position is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme concerning regulated work with children and adults.
The salary is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment will be at the first point of the grade with annual incremental progression.
