As the UK’s lead provider for Intelligence Analyst and Counter Fraud Investigator apprenticeships they have qualified hundreds of apprentices across a wide range of employers in both the public and private sectors. Their growth has also seen them expand provision into digital and protective services, working with government agencies, law enforcement, financial services, utilities, and major corporates.
Rated “excellent” by both apprentices and employers, theyare now seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive forward the next phase of growth, blending new employer acquisition with the development of existing client relationships.
Role and Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new employer partnerships for the delivery of their full suite of apprenticeship programmes.
* Manage and grow relationships with existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of engagement and identifying opportunities for further programme delivery.
* Build strong connections with departmental heads, HR leaders, L&D teams and key decision-makers to fully understand training needs, workforce challenges, and recruitment opportunities.
* Work with the Commercial Director to shape and execute effective engagement strategies.
* Deliver compelling presentations and proposals through both face-to-face and virtual client meetings.
* Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing client satisfaction.
* Contribute to organisational growth targets through a balanced focus on new business generation and account development.
Experience and Skills
* A strong background in the training sector is desirable but not essential however a background of selling into Financial Services institutions would be of significant benefit.
* A proven record of managing key accounts and achieving sales or engagement KPIs.
* Knowledge and experience across multiple sectors, ideally including protective services, government, financial services, utilities, or digital industries.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
* Strong organisational and administrative abilities with close attention to detail.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to spot opportunities, build trust and deliver tailored apprenticeship solutions
