GSL Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with MDSA (Midday Supervisory Assistant) duties for a school in Eastbourne. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about making a difference in children's daily school experience, providing support with learning during lessons and ensuring a safe and positive environment during breaks. Responsibilities: Provide in-class support to individual pupils and small groups under teacher direction. Assist with preparing learning materials and supporting differentiated instruction. Encourage and promote positive behaviour and engagement during lessons. Supervise pupils during lunch and break times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Support the emotional and social development of pupils throughout the school day. Requirements: Experience working with children in an educational or care setting (preferred). A positive, patient, and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to assist with personal care if required.
