Surrey County Council is seeking a Social Worker to join the specialist Children with Disabilities (CWD) Service based at Victoria Gate in Woking. You'll work within Surrey's Family Safeguarding Model, which brings together professionals from across adult services and children's social care to provide joined-up, holistic support for families. This is a meaningful role where your work will directly influence the independence, safety, and wellbeing of children with additional needs. About the role You'll manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, carrying out strength-based assessments, developing support plans, and working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to create positive change. You'll also support safeguarding and care planning processes, navigating complexity with confidence while keeping the child at the centre of everything you do. Based in our modern Woking office, you'll be part of a supportive team culture that values reflective practice and development.
