We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
* Follow care plans meticulously to ensure that each individual's needs are met.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to foster a supportive environment.
* Drive to various locations as required for home care visits, ensuring safe transportation of clients.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* A valid driving licence is desirable for those required to travel between locations.
* Basic IT skills are essential for maintaining records and using care management systems.
* A caring nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: £12.80-£15.00 per hour
