Slough are looking to recruit an enthusiastic D2A Occupational Therapist to join a well-structured and dynamic team. The client offers a full time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension. Main Duties for the D2A Occupational Therapist includes; Undertake strengths-based occupational therapy assessments under the Discharge to Assess pathway Support safe and timely discharge from hospital Assess functional ability, risk, and environmental factors in community settings Recommend and arrange equipment, adaptations, reablement, or short-term support Work collaboratively with health partners, reablement teams, and social care colleagues Contribute to decision-making around longer-term care and support planning Maintain accurate records in line with statutory and professional requirementsTo Be Successful; Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community HCPC Registration Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you) Eligibility to work in the UK Occupational Therapist QualificationBenefits of Working at Slough Our client offers the opportunity for additional training for both perm and temporary members of staff within the authority.
