About the team
We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to lead the Risk and Compliance representation on OSB Group’s strategic Simplification and Modernisation programme - to simplify and modernise the way we work. This programme will help us to work more effectively and efficiently; enhancing the journey and experience for our customers and brokers. What you will be doing
In this role, you will support and partner with Risk and Compliance senior leaders to drive and execute responsibilities over the programme in a second line of defence capacity. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging domain expertise across all principal risk types within the programme, applicable to a Retail Bank operating in the UK.
Your responsibilities will include…
* Represent the Risk and Compliance function on Simplification and Modernisation projects, ensuring mitigation of risks, control enhancements, and good customer outcomes;
* Develop and maintain productive relationships across the business and change functions, ensuring successful planning and measurement of complex initiatives;
* Align programmes with Risk and Compliance requirements, develop oversight plans, and document risk management strategies;
* Ensure the Modernisation Programme meets Risk and Compliance standards, considering the customer lifecycle and risk frameworks;
* Engage senior leadership with updates on key risk indicators, progress, and issues;
* Collaborate with business partners and leadership to support strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and policy alignment.
In return for your commitment
We offer a salary starting from £80,000, dependent on experience and location, along with a competitive benefits package including:
