You will be working across two teams, Infrastructure and Property Management & Consultancy. You will be involved in a wide variety of work, including infrastructure projects above and below the ground, assisting with the commercial property management of a varied portfolio and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders. What would I be doing? You will play a pivotal role in successfully delivering infrastructure schemes from day one, across a variety of markets. This will include involvement in every stage of a project lifecycle, from land referencing and negotiating of survey access, to securing consents for work and settling compensation claims. You will also be involved in various aspects of Commercial Property Management, including liaising and building strong relationships with Property Owners, Asset Managers and Tenants as well as looking at compliance and service charge matters. What do I need to have to apply? We are more than happy to teach you all the technical skills you need, it is your personal attributes and commitment to the role that is key. Ideally, you will: Be a graduate from an RICS accredited degree. Be committed to professional career development to become a Chartered member of the RICS (MRICS) Have a passion and interest in the built and/or natural environment Have excellent people and communication skills - both verbal and written; Have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to identify and solve problems; Have good attention to detail Adopt a consultative approach, able to identify and solve problems; Have the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at any one time, working in a way that is highly agile and responsive to rapidly changing client and site requirements Have access to transport, or be willing to do so by the time you start work, as you will often be required to travel to out of town client sites; Enjoy going out and about in all weathers, travelling across the region or further afield and working outside of the normal 9-5 when required.
