Field Sales Representative – FMCG
A global consumer goods organisation is expanding its field sales team across the Greater Glasgow region, creating an opportunity for a Field Sales Representative to join a globally recognised, market-leading business.
Operating in over 130 countries and generating in excess of $6 billion in annual revenue, the organisation is recognised as a leader within the FMCG sector, underpinned by a focus on scientific innovation and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
The role will involve managing and developing off-trade accounts, with responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers. This is an account management-led field position, offering ownership of a defined territory and exposure to a globally recognised brand portfolio.
This is a field based position, visiting clients in the Greater Glasgow area.
Responsibilities
* Build relationships with a range of decision makers across retail accounts
* Work on Trade Agreements to drive availability of products
* Field based account management, acting as shop owners’ first point of contact
* Meet KPIs including site visits, availability and distribution of products
* Educate leaders & wider teams across the accounts about the products
* Collect pricing and distribution information, reporting to varied internal teams
* Identify and prospect commercial opportunities when needed
The Successful Candidate
* 12+ months experience in a similar field sales position is ideal
* Experience in the FMCG space would be a plus
* Must have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
* Based near Glasgow

* Basic salary: £35,500
* Additional earnings: + £10,000-12,000
