School Administrator
£16.29 – £17 per hour | Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm | Full-time | Two-week handover provided
Do you have a strong eye for detail, great organisational skills and experience keeping a busy school office running smoothly?
Aspira Education is hiring a School Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a primary school in Derbyshire. You'll handle everything from finance processes to pupil records, ensuring staff and pupils get the admin support they need.
If you've worked in a school office before and have used systems such as SAP for finance or Arbor (similar to SIMS), we'd love to hear from you. A full two-week handover will be provided.
About the Role
As a School Administrator you'll:
* Manage front-office duties, answering calls and welcoming visitors
* Maintain accurate pupil and staff records, attendance and safeguarding information
* Support finance tasks using SAP and other school systems
* Liaise with staff, parents and external agencies to keep communication clear and timely
* Provide general admin support to the Senior Leadership Team
You'll work Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, term-time.
What We're Looking For
We welcome candidates with:
* Previous experience in a school office or similar environment
* Knowledge of school information systems such as Arbor, SIMS or SAP for finance
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality
All applicants must have:
* The right to work in the UK
* A clear Enhanced child DBS
* Two recent references
* A willingness to complete free online safeguarding training (Provided for free)
