About The Role
We’re looking for a standout leader with the imagination, confidence and energy to drive genuine, system‑wide transformation. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, sees possibilities where others see limitations, and has the courage and resilience to challenge colleagues and partners to test new and innovative ways of working.
If you’re driven by challenge, motivated by purpose and excited by the opportunity to leave a legacy, we want to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
As Head of Transformation & PMO you’ll be at the heart of delivering North Northamptonshire Council’s corporate plan, owning the transformation portfolio and pipeline end to end.
You will:
* lead major programmes, modernise services and create new operating models that improve outcomes for our communities
* bring strategic clarity, delivery discipline and creative thinking while inspiring a high‑performing team
* work closely with senior leaders, members and partners across health, emergency services, voluntary organisations and the wider public sector
* deputise for the Director of Transformation & Strategy, shaping direction at the highest level
About You
We’re looking for someone with exceptional leadership, deep transformation expertise and the ability to energise people around a compelling vision. You’ll thrive at pace, cut through complexity and turn bold ideas into real, tangible impact. In return, you’ll have the platform, autonomy and influence to make a lasting difference and help build the future of a young and ambitious council.
For an informal chat please contact Katy Ayres, Exec Asst.
Shortlisting will take place week commencing 16th March. Provisional interview date 25th March.
