A well-established precision engineering business in Leicestershire is looking to bring in an experienced CNC 5 Axis Programmer / Miller.
This is a business that has built its reputation on solving difficult machining challenges, supplying into some of the most demanding industries. You’ll be working on varied, technically interesting work rather than repeat production, with the opportunity to be part of a close-knit, highly skilled team.
Operating for over 40 years, this company supplies high-specification components into demanding sectors including motorsport and aerospace, with a strong reputation for machining complex parts others struggle to produce.
You’ll be joining a skilled team in a clean, modern environment, working across advanced multi-axis machinery and a wide range of materials.
The Role:
* Programming, setting and operating 5 axis CNC milling machines
* Producing complex, tight tolerance components from engineering drawings
* Using CAD/CAM software (Edgecam / similar) for offline programming
* Supporting continuous improvement of machining processes and part quality
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience programming 5 axis CNC milling machines
* Strong background in precision engineering environments
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
* Experience with CAD/CAM packages (Edgecam, Hypermill, Mastercam, etc.)
