Shipping CoordinatorLocation: Stoke-on-TrentHours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm The RoleDue to growth and workload, an existing combined role has now been split, creating an opportunity for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to take ownership of customer orders and global shipments from factory through to end user.This role sits at the heart of operations and involves managing customer orders with a strong coordination and project-management element. You’ll work closely with internal teams, international factories, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end customer order process, from order entry through to delivery
* Act as a key point of contact for customers regarding order and shipment status
* Coordinate global shipments from factory to end user, ensuring deadlines and customer requirements are met
* Liaise with international supply chain partners and freight forwarders
* Prepare and manage shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork, etc.)
* Ensure shipments are aligned with agreed freight terms and customer-specific requirements
* Work with the finance team to support different customer terms and payment arrangements
* Monitor shipments, proactively resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records within internal systems
Essential Requirements
* Background in manufacturing and/or engineering xsngvjr
* Strong coordination and organisational skills
* Proven experience with international shipping and logistics
* Good understanding of freight processes, shipping documentation, and trade terms
* Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with global suppliers and customers
