What the Job Involves In this role, you will work collaboratively with Enfield Council, contractors, partners, and users to manage and maintain attractive and safe parks and open spaces throughout the Borough. You will be responsible for ensuring a healthy tree stock across various environments, ranging from urban parks to country parks. The position involves driving and towing responsibilities as well. Skills Driving and towing experience Chainsaw maintenance (CS30.1) Cross-cut and stack timber using chainsaw (CS30.2) Felling and processing small trees (CS31) Aerial rescue skills (CS38) Interpretation and application of tree management legislation Full Driving Licence with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement Tree surgery specialist experience Use of chainsaw from rope and harness at height (CS39) First aid (desirable) Lantra/City & Guilds – Stump Grinding operations (desirable) Lantra/City & Guilds – Wood Chipper operations (desirable) MEWP & Chainsaw use in MEWP (desirable) City & Guilds - Street works Signing Lighting and Guarding (desirable) PA1 & PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides (desirable)
