Job Description: Chef de Partie at The Grantley Arms
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the brigade in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen operation.
2. Manage the day-to-day running of your section under the guidance of a Sous Chef.
3. Support the development of creative menus and service standards.
4. Ensure the food quality meets the high standards expected at The Grantley Arms.
5. Strive for continuous improvement and achievement.
6. Communicate relevant feedback from guests and team to the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
7. Assist in other sections or duties as required.
8. Train and delegate tasks to Commis Chefs and apprentices.
9. Maintain cleanliness, stock control, organization, and standards of your section.
Candidate Requirements:
* A passion for food.
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
* Good kitchen and knife skills.
* Understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines.
* Ability to work to high standards typical of a luxury establishment.
* Creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
* Ability to handle pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
* Experience in guiding and supervising others.
Details:
* Position: Full Time
* Salary: £30,000 per annum plus a monthly service charge (approximately £2,400 annually)
* Hours: 45 hours per week
