We're looking for an electrical biased Technical Project Manager to join our Hard FM team based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital. Location : Neath Port Talbot Hospital - on site Hours : 40 hours per week What will you be responsible for? As a Technical Project Manager to be based at the Neath Port Talbot Hospital you will report to the Contract Manager. You will be responsible for the complete delivery of all the technical requirements within the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract relating to the provision of the Hard Facilities Management Services. The scope of services includes Mechanical and Electrical Services, Energy Management, Grounds Maintenance, Lifecycle works, variations and Compliance. You will manage several projects on site through to completion within a variety of disciplines. These projects can involve security access systems, building fabric, M&E, BMS, System upgrades and replacements, Room & Building refurbishment or fit-outs, Energy efficiency & Sustainability Technology, and anything else that is necessary to for fill contractual requirements and deliver the FM service effectively. Duties will include but not be limited to: Ensure Compliance with all aspects of the technical requirements of the contract. You will be accountable for appointing, instructing, monitoring and coordinating subcontractors and technical consultants for all Projects being undertaken on site. Management of internal projects, such as; updating of Room Data Sheets, Asset Register, Drawings, Documentation for Hand back and Condition Surveys. Manage all Lifecycle, VO and Small Works Projects Meet SHE targets (KPI's) at project level which reflect the requirements of the company objectives Responsible person for Electrical Infrastructure and Back Up System What are we looking for? This role of Technical Manager is great for you if: You are Qualified to ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or proven experience You have low voltage AP with high voltage experience You have an M&E background (Elec Bias) Experience working in facilities management is essential You have experience in managing a team of engineers and building fabric operatives Experience in Project Management Be willing to work towards a Prince2 qualification We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
