Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to enhance the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to young people, including assistance with daily living activities.
* · To work on a rota basis according to the needs of young people
* To ensure that resources are allocated appropriately, and financial records are accurately maintained under the direction of the Registered Manager and or Responsible Individual
* To receive supervision in line with Quality Standards & Regulations and to take responsibility for personal development and progress of individual training needs
* To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Responsible individual
* Implement individual care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
* Support children and adults with autism and other disabilities in developing life skills.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor young people for any side effects or changes in condition.
* Engage young people in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of young people progress and report any concerns to the supervising staff.
* Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
* Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the care environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is essential.
* Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with young people, families, and team members.
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Relevant qualifications in health or social care would be beneficial but not mandatory. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through dedicated care and support.

Pay: £14.50 per hour
