Lincoln Christ's Hospital School, located near Lincoln's beautiful cathedral, is truly comprehensive, with over 1,260 students on roll, including over 185 in the Sixth Form. In our latest OFSTED visit in November 2024, we have been graded ‘Good’ in all areas.
Position Details
We wish to appoint a well‑qualified, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English; the ability to teach up to KS5 would be an advantage. The ability to teach KS3 Drama would also be beneficial. This is a full time position, however, part time applications will be considered. The post will commence in September 2026.
We warmly welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers. The right candidate will be passionate about English, have high expectations of students and of themselves, and wish to motivate students of all abilities. There is the potential of a TLR for a suitably qualified candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach English to students up to KS5

* Engage learners and foster a genuine thirst for learning through inspirational teaching
* Provide high‑quality feedback on progress
* Act as a form tutor alongside teaching duties
Requirements
* Qualified and enthusiastic teacher with experience up to KS5 (preferred)
* Experience or ability to teach KS3 Drama (beneficial)
* Commitment to high standards and motivation of students of all abilities
* Fluency Duty: Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016)
* Must provide evidence of right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment and Home Office documentation prior to interview
