Warehouse Electrical Assembly Operative – St Albans
Newstaff Employment is hiring a Warehouse Electrical Assembly Operative in St Albans to join a busy and growing team. In this role, you will assemble electrical components and equipment within a warehouse environment while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. In addition, you may occasionally attend large festival and concert installations to support on-site setup work. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for someone with electrical assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and varied duties.
Location: St Albans
Salary: Competitive salary with potential earnings up to £35, per annum after a temporary period
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities
1. Assemble electrical components and products following instructions and specifications
2. Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
4. Assist with stock control and report shortages or damaged items
5. Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet targets
6. Report equipment faults or safety concerns quickly
7. Support occasional on-site installations for festivals and concerts
8. Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Previous experience in electrical assembly or warehouse assembly work
10. Good understanding of electrical components and assembly methods
11. Full UK driving licence required
12. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
13. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
14. Good communication and teamwork skills
15. Reliable and hard-working attitude
16. Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties
