Do you have experience working in homeownership, specifically leaseholds, service charges, including Section 20, and dealing with arrears?
This role involves working as part of a dedicated team at a housing association in Chatham, Kent, with easy access from Gravesend, Sittingbourne, Maidstone, Dartford, and parts of Essex such as Grays, Rainham, Dagenham, Upminster, etc.
You will work in a small team, partnering with the asset management team, providing annual accounts to leaseholders, handling solicitor leasehold enquiries, and assisting with the audit of service charge accounts.
Additional duties include conducting Section 20 consultations, setting service charge budgets for new builds, managing arrears, and establishing payment agreements.
The salary for this full-time, permanent role is £39,437. Benefits include a generous holiday allowance of 28 days (plus bank holidays) and free on-site parking.
Applicants should have a good understanding of accounting/finance, knowledge of relevant legislation (notably Section 20), and experience managing a property portfolio.
