The Department of Law, Policing, Investigation and Social Sciences is committed to creating opportunities and driving positive social impact, through collaborative provision with our strategic partners. We have a vacancy for a Lecturer in Legal Practice, who will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate provision, with specific expertise in any of the following areas:
Contract Law
Equity and Trusts
Land Law
The Law of Tort
The SQE curriculum
This is a Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice post, designed to enable staff to focus their work on industry engagement alongside teaching.
This post is available on a full-time or job share basis. (If you wish to apply on a job share basis you must state this on your application).
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
