Were looking for a Team Leader to join NGAGE, our early intervention drug and alcohol service for young people aged 1018 in Northamptonshire. Delivered by Aquarius, a charity helping individuals and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs, and gambling, NGAGE provides early support, education, and tailored interventions. As Team Leader, youll play a central role in service delivery and operational management. Your leadership will ensure clinical quality, service compliance, and a strong team culture, all while maintaining person-centred care and safeguarding best practice. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and supporting staff, including induction, coaching, and development reviews Ensuring services meet all quality, policy and statutory standards Managing performance and supporting the recruitment of staff and volunteers Liaising with commissioners and external partners Overseeing data reporting and budget monitoring Championing Aquarius values and mission Youll bring strong leadership skills and significant experience supporting individuals in addictions, mental health, or social care settings particularly with young people. Youll also need: A professional qualification in health, social care, youth work or similar (e.g. NVQ Level 4, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies) Proven experience in the substance misuse field, with up-to-date knowledge of drugs, alcohol and associated health issues Familiarity with effective behaviour change interventions, such as motivational interviewing or psychoeducation Staff supervision or management experience, plus strong partnership working skills across statutory and voluntary services A solid understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice Strong IT and case management skills, and a flexible, strengths-based approach What we offer: 40 days' annual leave (including bank holidays) Contributory pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing training and professional development A meaningful role in a charity making real community impact Make a difference where it matters most.
