Maintenance Engineers - Food Manufacturing — Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire
£40,000-£45,000 + Overtime • Rotating Days • 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
What You'll Do
* Planned and reactive maintenance across food production machinery
* Reduce breakdowns through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance
* Machinery installations and project work
* Work on: separators, grinders, conveyors, elevators, washers, rollers, baggers
* AC/DC motors, PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens), sensors, relays
* Belt s, chains, bearings, gearboxes
What We’re Looking For
* Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer
* Minimum 3 years\' hands-on engineering experience
* Electrical role: 17th or 18th Edition qualification required
* Food/FMCG manufacturing background preferred (but not essential)
* Strong fault-finding ability and proactive mindset
Training & Progression
Full on-site training due to specialist machinery and processes. Progression into Senior Engineer roles as the team expands.
Package & Benefits
* Multi-Skilled Mechanical: £40,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
* Electrical Engineer: £45,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
* Overtime paid at 1.25x weekdays / 1.5x weekends

Shift Pattern
Week 1: Monday-Thursday 07:00-15:00 & Saturday 07:00-13:00 (on-call)
Week 2: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00
