Part time Class 1 Weekend Driver (AM shift) – Northampton (NN4 5FB).

We are looking for a Class 1 weekend Driver to join us on a part-time basis, working AM shifts between 12:00 midnight and 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays each week. There may be an option of working more days during the week based on the needs of the business.
Working out of our Grange Park site (NN4 5FB), you will deliver and collect products between other Yusen sites and distribution centres within a 120-mile radius. There is minimum manual handling involved.
The role is based on a 16-hour-per-week work pattern, with any extra hours worked paid at an enhanced rate.
We completely understand how important your preferred start time is to you, and we will do our utmost to accommodate it. However, we may need to ask for a little flexibility at certain times.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and collect products between Yusen sites and distribution centres within a 120-mile radius.
* Operate on a weekend AM shift schedule (12:00 midnight – 12:00 noon) with potential additional days based on business needs.
* Maintain safety and efficiency in all driving and loading activities with minimum manual handling.
* Maintain a 16-hour-per-week pattern with additional hours paid at an enhanced rate.

About You
To be considered as a Class 1 weekend Driver you will need:
* An LGV Class 1 licence with a minimum of 12 months' commercial driving experience
* No more than 6 points on your licence
* A current CPC Driver qualification
* A current Digital Tachograph Card
* Good working knowledge of working time regulations
* Flexibility around working hours to fit around the needs of the business
