Our client is seeking a Business Development Director to join their highly regarded medical affairs team. The role will encompass a large percentage of medical affairs work, as well as some promotional (and no publications!). YOU MUST HAVE WORKED IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ROLE IN A HEALTHCARE COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY FOR THIS ROLE. PLS don't apply if you haven't worked in this sector.
The ideal candidate will direct the business development activities of the organization and drive growth. They play a key role in the company and in the generation of new business.
Responsibilities
* Manage strategy and operations for business growth and diversity the existing client portfolio
* Provide feedback to company leadership on growth related topics
* Plan and coordinate the penetration of new markets

The majority of their work is global and they work across a range of therapeutic areas, including: Rare diseases, Oncology, Haem-onc, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Women’s Health, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and some diabetes.
