Responsibilities
* Strong leader, motivating the teams around you to achieve performance metrics and push the depot forward.
* Knowledge of both Warehouse and Transport operations is required to be successful in this 24/7 fast paced business (FMCG).
* Know the logistics or distribution industry and have a proven background running large, diverse teams.
* Strong communicator, influencing productivity and strategy.
* Strong P&L management through effective planning and reporting.
* Fast thinker, a problem solver and a proactive AND reactive manager.
* Development of teams, meeting customer KPI's.
Qualifications
* Proven background of managing large, successful teams.
* Good analytical skills, financial reporting and P&L responsibility.
* Good knowledge of H&S and Transport regulations.
* PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office.
* Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements as this is a 24/7 operation.
Salary up to £55k plus bonus and benefits
