A market leader and innovator in Optical, Mixed Signal ICs and Systems are looking for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Engineer to help drive the transition of innovative semiconductor products from initial development through qualification and high:volume manufacturing.
This position offers the opportunity to build expertise across product development, silicon characterisation, manufacturing test strategy, process optimisation, and production ramp activities. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute to the successful introduction of advanced CMOS and BiCMOS technologies into the marketplace.
Reporting to the NPI Product Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will join a technically challenging and collaborative environment focused on delivering high:quality products to production.
Key Responsibilities:Product Introduction and Cross:Functional Collaboration
:Participate in product introduction activities spanning concept definition, qualification, release, and transfer into manufacturing.
:Coordinate with Design, Validation, Quality, Reliability, Operations, Applications, Marketing, and Test Engineering teams to ensure successful product execution.Test Development and Manufacturing Readiness
:Support the implementation of Design:for:Test (DfT) and Design:for:Manufacturing (DfM) methodologies.
:Assist in the development, validation, and enhancement of automated test solutions to achieve robust production coverage.Characterisation and Product Validation (30)
:Perform electrical characterisation and correlation activities across process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
:Support specification verification, datasheet compliance activities, and statistical test limit generation.Silicon Evaluation and Data Analysis
:Conduct wafer:level and bench:based measurements to evaluate device performance.
:Analyse large data sets to identify trends, variations, and opportunities for performance optimisation.Yield and Cost Optimisation
:Contribute to yield analysis, design:of:experiment (DOE) studies, and test efficiency improvements.
:Identify and support corrective actions that enhance manufacturing performance and reduce operational costs.Quality and Failure Analysis (10)
:Assist with production monitoring activities and investigation of product failures originating from manufacturing or customer returns.
