Assembly Operative
Wellingborough
£13.50 per hour
Mon-Thurs, 07:00-15:30 Fri 07:00-13:00 (38 hours per week)
Immediate Start | Temporary 3-4 weeks | On-site Parking
The Opportunity
We're looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join a well-established manufacturing and assembly company based in Wellingborough. If your reliable, have experience as an assembler, using hand tools and confident with mechanical work this could be a great fit for you!
You'll be part of a friendly and hardworking production team, reporting to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Assembling mechanical assembly using hand tools, torque tools and other equipment.
Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
Conduct in-process quality checks and report any non-conformance's or defects.
Record production data and complete relevant documentation accurately.
Interpreting and working from technical drawings and instructions.
Operating safely within a busy workshop or assembly environment.
Working closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
General warehouse tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting.
Able to use hand tools, torque tools and follow visual instructions or measurements.
Reliable, punctual, strong eye to detail and able to work as part of a team.
Health & Safety conscious.
