About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader / Senior Support Worker to join our childrens residential home, supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs.This is a key leadership role where you will lead shifts, support staff development and ensure high quality, child centred care in line with regulatory standards and the homes values.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead shifts and act as a role model for Support Workers
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
* Ensure children receive safe, consistent and nurturing care
* Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews
* Support, mentor and supervise staff on shift
* Promote safeguarding, equality, and positive outcomes for children
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
