The Role As a Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils who may present with: Challenging behaviour Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs Barriers to learning that require additional pastoral support You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to: Provide 1:1 and small group support Implement behaviour strategies and personalised support plans Help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively in learning Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment Support the delivery of lessons and classroom activities About the School A mainstream primary school with additional behavioural challenges Committed leadership team focused on inclusion and pupil progress Supportive staff culture with a strong emphasis on teamwork Structured approach to behaviour management and pastoral care This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, but where your impact will be highly visible and valued.
