Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30–17:30

About the Firm
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with offices across London. The practice benefits from a strong and loyal client base and provides specialist legal services to both private individuals and commercial clients.
The firm is now seeking a talented Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused individual who wishes to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy while delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
2. Handling new build transactions, re-mortgages, and transfer of equity matters
3. Acting on registered and unregistered property transactions
4. Dealing with Help to Buy and shared ownership matters
5. Advising on lease extensions and related work
6. Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other professionals
7. Working closely with colleagues, including the Private Client team
8. Maintaining accurate file management and compliance procedures
The Candidate
You will be a confident Residential Conveyancer with:
9. 1–3+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
10. Strong knowledge across the full range of conveyancing transactions
11. Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
12. Excellent client care and communication skills
13. A proactive approach to networking and business development
14. Strong organisational and administrative abilities
15. Professional, personable, and approachable manner
16. Ambition to progress within a growing firm
Key Skills & Competencies
17. Solid understanding of residential property law and practice
18. Experience managing multiple files with minimal supervision
19. Clear communication with clients, agents, and lenders
20. High attention to detail in drafting contracts and reports
21. Strong problem-solving skills for title and transaction issues
22. Effective time management and organisational skills
23. IT proficiency, including experience with LEAP or similar systems
