Contract Type:FTC with a guaranteed role on successful completion of the apprenticeship

What youll be doing
Expected Duration:3 Years
Apprenticeship Level:Advanced Safety,Healthand Environment Technician (Level 3) and then progressing to Improvement Practitioner (Level 4)
Training Provider:DEERE APPRENTICESHIPS LTD?
Initially, you will work towards a Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician standard. Once complete you will progress to the Level 4 Improvement Practitioner standard.
Upon completion of the apprenticeshipprogrammeyou will be able to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at Technical IOSH level
At the end of your programme, if you have successfully completed your apprenticeship and achieved the performance targets we have set for you, you are guaranteed a permanent role with us.
What to expect
* You will have a real job from day one and make a genuine contribution to the businesses. Typical weekly tasks will consist of:
* Investigating incidents and accidents and near misses and using robust root cause techniques.
* Learn about Safety, Health and Environmental management and best practices and be able to suggest tangible control measures.
* Develop an understanding of compliance to UK safety laws, provide governance and support to sustain legal compliance.
* Grow to understand how you can influence a positive safety culture, completetrainingand coaching of teams to help grow safer actions and habits.
* Undertake and/orassistwith the monitoring,analysisand reporting of SHE performance.
* Support the embedding of Health, Safety & Environmentalvaluesand procedures wheregood communicationskills are essential.
* This is a mobile role so a full driving licence and access to a car withappropriate businessinsurance is essential. You will have a home site to work from but will covera number ofsites across the region
What were looking for
Werelooking for well-organised individuals withstrong communicationand problem-solving skills.Youllhave excellent attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and feel confident working collaboratively as part of a team. Patience, initiative, and a proactive attitude arealso important.
With regards to requirements, you must have full right to work within the U.K., have been a U.K. resident for over the past 3-years & the age requirement is 16+(This needs to be 18+ at our Cheshire site)
For qualifications you must hold the following:
* GCSE or equivalent English andMaths + three others (Grade 9 4 or A*- C) essential
