We are looking for an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer for one of our long-standing clients based near Wigan. My client is a global manufacturer and have been operating in the area for over 100 years.
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join this great company on their 4-shift rota. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation on all production equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing process.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
* Monday – Friday. (8am – 4pm / 6am – 2pm / 10pm – 6am / 2pm – 10pm) – 4-week rotation.
* Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
* Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
* Recognised Engineering Qualifications.
* Electrically qualified.
* Siemens and Allan Bradley PLC experience.
* Ability to read electrical schematics.
* VSD experience.
* Strong electrical fault finding.
This Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from: Manchester, Wigan, Bolton, Warrington, Skelmersdale, Liverpool, Blackburn and surrounding areas.
