An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Underwriter to join an insurance organisation that specialises in serving niche markets across the UK. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, negotiating, and underwriting profitable new business. You’ll work closely with brokers and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and sustainable growth.
About the role:
Underwrite and negotiate new business cases within agreed authority and underwriting guidelines
Deliver excellent customer service and compliance standards
Use a range of communication methods (phone, face-to-face) to support a "right first time" approach
Engage with audit feedback and development activities
Identify and escalate any potential risks within the regulatory frameworkAbout You:
Cert CII qualified or actively working towards qualification
Strong track record in commercial insurance underwriting or broking
Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with intermediaries and internal stakeholders
A customer focused mindset and excellent communication skill
