Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We’re working with a highly reputable, medical research organisation who are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join on an initial 12-month FTC with potential for a longer-term opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Undertake health and safety audits / inspections Undertake associated risk assessments Undertake accident investigation when required General H&S Advice to the organisation and employees Undertake basic level H&S training What We’re Looking For: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum or a Diploma level qualification in a science/ laboratory-based field Hold health and safety experience within a laboratory-based environment is essential Be happy to undertake fully site-based position Be a strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
